This is an opportunity for volunteers to help make the McCall Elementary School Garden the best place for CCSD students to learn and explore the outdoors. You will be helping cultivate and beautify this garden and the outdoor classroom while enhancing the area for hands-on learning in STEM, sustainability, mental health, and nutrition throughout the school year.
A Garden Refresh is a one-time overhaul in which volunteers help with maintenance in and around the garden and/or orchard.
Tasks may include:
Planting seeds
Pruning
Transplanting
Composting
Amending the soil
Weeding Beautifying the outdoor classroom
Cleaning up the surrounding outdoor area
