Who We Are

Green Our Planet is an EdTech conservation 501(c)3 nonprofit running one of the largest and most comprehensive STEM school garden and hydroponics programs in the United States. Our goal is to enhance student academic performance in STEM subjects and foster environmental stewardship through a project-based STEM education, which also includes nutrition, financial literacy, and conservation for PreK-12 schools.

We believe that

  • A well-run school garden and hydroponics program can transform the culture of a school or an entire district.
  • School gardens and hydroponics connect students with the wonders of nature.
  • Learning to care for outdoor gardens and indoor hydroponic gardens is the first step in teaching students to take care of the planet.
  • Every child should learn where their food comes from.

Green Our Planet is incorporated in the State of Nevada as a nonprofit organization and is approved as a 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS.

What We Do

We assist schools in creating dynamic outdoor garden and indoor hydroponic programs for K-12 students. The gardens and hydroponics systems act as "living laboratories," where, combined with our standards-aligned curricula, students engage in hands-on STEM learning that is both fun and educational, while deepening their understanding of the environment.

With 97% of teachers recommending our programs and being the largest of their kind in the country, we're making a significant impact. We collaborate with schools in 43 states and 5 countries, delivering content, community, and coaching to teachers through our online platform. Additionally, we proudly run the only school garden and hydroponics programs in the U.S. accredited by STEMworks. Through our work, we help inspire the next generation of scientists, farmers, nutritionists, entrepreneurs, and conservationists.
