You don't need to be a tech wizard, just patient, friendly, and willing to walk residents through simple fixes that make their lives easier. From setting up a new phone to troubleshooting Wi-Fi connections, your help can open up a world of connection and independence.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting residents with setting up or learning to use their phones and tablets
- Helping with simple tasks like creating email accounts, adjusting settings, or connecting to Wi-Fi
- Showing residents how to download apps, play music, or video chat with family
- Guiding them through easy troubleshooting steps for everyday issues
- Offering encouragement, patience, and confidence-building support
We're looking for volunteers who:
- Are comfortable with basic technology (no expert skills required!)
- Have patience and can explain things step by step
- Are flexible and ready to solve simple, everyday tech issues
