Our community is recruiting volunteers to support the 2024 Project REACH Senior Expos, Powered by NV Energy. These events help income-qualified seniors, age 62 and older, apply for Project REACH assistance to help pay past-due utility bills. The events also provide information on other programs, products and services, including ones that help with energy conservation and bill savings, that benefit seniors in our community.
Volunteers are needed at the event on Thursday, August 22, at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, to assist with a variety of tasks including check-in, guiding people to the event, greeting attendees, and helping seniors throughout the event. If you speak multiple languages and are willing to translate, please let the site supervisor know.
