WHAT: Sorting and distributing grade-level books for the book bus
WHERE: Silver State Credit Union: Westcliff Branch (170 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145)
*Parking is open and on a first-come, first-served basis*
WHEN: October 20, 2023, from 9:30 am- 12: 30 pm; 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm (2 shifts)
HOW: Volunteers will arrive at Silver State Credit Union: Westcliff Branch and connect with CCSD employees. Volunteers will be outdoors engaged in the following activities:
- Putting books on buses
- Refilling bins
- Be the face of excitement for the event
- Help students through the self-selection process
- Exit Monitor
- Family greeter
- Distributing bookmarks
Volunteers need to ensure they are wearing close-toed shoes. Also, please wear comfortable clothes due to the event being outdoors.
