Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Cupcake Girls! Please review the following information before your scheduled orientation.
General Volunteer Information:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Volunteers are expected to dedicate 5 hours per month (or 5 hours per week for Advocates), on average. Intern hours are determined by the program.
- Team availability changes monthly; be prepared with 3 team choices based on your schedule. Teams can be switched after 30 active days after orientation.
- Teams are divided into Operations and Programs. Operations teams support daily tasks; Program teams assist participants directly.
- If you choose a Hybrid or In-Person team, please be located in Portland, Oregon, or Las Vegas, Nevada, or be able to travel to these locations.
Note: Due to the required application and interview process, being on track for a team doesn't guarantee a spot.
If a team highly interests you but requires in-person availability, use the Q&A section of the orientation to inquire about the possibility of a fully remote role.
Partners are businesses & individuals offering services to our program participants for pro bono or discounted services.
- Tasks: Research partners, maintain database, assist with monthly newsletters, and monthly virtual check-ins.
- In-person options available once per quarter in Portland, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada for cupcake deliveries.
