VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Position Overview
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the processing, selection, training, scheduling and care of Refuge volunteers.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Utilize the Volunteer Coordinator Binder to direct volunteer activities
- Receive, assess and process each volunteer application, including interview and background check
- Maintain volunteer onboarding, training and time served records
- Care for volunteers through appreciation and communication
- Work with Program Director or Program Director Assistant to schedule in house volunteers and track hours
- Work with Executive Director to recruit volunteers as needed for projects
- Gather volunteer timesheets monthly for required reports

Qualifications
- Able to use Google docs, Excel, Word
- Some previous ministry or HR experience helpful
