The Science of Comics

Gear up with your fellow heroes and discover new adventures in your community! Learn about the science of comics that inspired your favorite characters and explore the amazing world of natural history. This volunteer opportunity will need YOU to help with activity tables, interacting with guests, and assisting museum staff with event activities and overall support.

Comic Book Science Themed Event at the Las Vegas Science and Natural History Museum on Saturday - June 27, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you are able to assist with set up and clean up either before or after the event, please let me know! You are not obligated to stay past the three hour time slots - if you would like to volunteer for more than five hours. Please plan for a lunch break!

Dressing up is highly recommended, please keep it family friendly and appropriate.

Emails will be sent out as the event gets closer.

Junior Volunteers (13-15 years of age) are welcome with an adult or guardian present. Drop offs are not allowed. If you need hours for a school program, this can fulfill those.
