Balikbayan Bots is a Las Vegas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to cultivating the next generation of diverse STEM leaders through high-intensity engineering mentorship. Founded on the Filipino principle of balikbayan: the commitment to return home and uplift one’s community. We operate as a professional-grade engineering incubator for students in grades 8–12.
Rather than focusing solely on competition, our primary objective is to equip students with the technical mastery, project management experience, and professional literacy required to excel in university-level STEM programs and the global workforce. By providing access to industry-standard tools, professional mentorship, and a curriculum rooted in cultural identity, we bridge the gap for students who lack STEM infrastructure at their home schools. We are an inclusive pipeline, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the skills and confidence to lead, innovate, and thrive in their future careers.
