Friday Night Fitness – Volunteer Description
Friday Night Fitness is an upbeat, high-energy evening combining 45 minutes of hip-hop dance with 30 minutes of adaptive karate. The program focuses on movement, inclusion, and fun for all participants.
Volunteer Role:
Volunteers are encouraged to fully join in—dancing along, engaging with members, and contributing to a positive, high-energy environment. During the adaptive karate portion, volunteers assist by helping members form lines, transitioning participants from one spot to another, and staying actively engaged with everyone throughout the session.
Because the session includes movement, neon lighting, and music, we ask that volunteers be comfortable moving around the room, staying active, and being in a setting with lights and upbeat sound.
Volunteers are asked to be on site at 5:00 o'clock for a brief overview. Hip hop starts at 5:15, and karate will wrap up at 6:45
Attire:
Please wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely.
