Opportunity Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Volunteer Fundraising Director to join our team. This role involves strategic planning and implementation of all fundraising activities to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of our organization.
The suitable candidate will have a solid background in non-profit fundraising and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute an annual fundraising strategies and initiatives in line with the organization's objectives and goals.
• Engage with current and prospective donors, cultivating lasting relationships.
• Collaborate and partner with our Social Media Marketing Team and Google Ads Manager to align fundraising and marketing strategies.
• Facilitate fundraising events and initiatives, ensuring they are successful and meet targets.
• Keep meticulous records of fundraising activities, donations, and outcomes.
• Regular communication with stakeholders, offering updates, handling inquiries, and acknowledging contributions.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in fundraising within the non-profit sector
• Experience in working in a lead or leadership role
• Experience in non-profit leadership and non-profit start up and capacity-building, is highly desirable
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong understanding of fundraising strategies and donor relations.
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels and SEO strategies.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
