Opportunity Overview: We need committed Fundraising Volunteers to assist in raising the vital funds needed to continue our mission. This role involves a variety of fundraising activities, both creative and traditional. The ideal candidate will be eager to help, passionate about our cause, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and implementation of fundraising activities at the direction of the Donor Relations Manager
* Engage with potential donors and sponsors, including individuals, businesses, and other organizations.
* Work with the Volunteer Fundraising Director to achieve fundraising goals.
* Maintain records of fundraising activities and outcomes.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates, responding to inquiries, and acknowledging contributions.
Qualifications:
* Experience with or interest in fundraising in the non-profit sector.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Understanding of various fundraising strategies.
* Demonstrable ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
