Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a passionate and competent Grants Manager -Volunteer to join our team. This role revolves around strategic planning, identification, and management of grant opportunities to support our organization's financial stability and growth. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in grants management, non-profit fundraising, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, research, and pursue relevant grant opportunities in line with the organization’s objectives and goals.
• Manage all aspects of grant process including writing, submission, and follow-up to ensure successful outcomes.
• Engage and build relationships with current and prospective grantors, assuring their alignment with our mission and objectives.
• Collaborate with our Social Media Marketing Team and Google Ads Manager to ensure consistency between grant strategies and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain thorough records of grant applications, awards, and outcomes.
• Provide regular communication to stakeholders, offering updates, responding to inquiries, and acknowledging contributions.
Qualifications:
• Significant experience in grant management within the non-profit sector.
• Experience in a leadership or lead role.
• Prior experience in non-profit leadership, start-ups, and capacity-building is highly desirable.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Deep understanding of grant research, proposal writing, and relationship management with donors.
