Our residents aren't just resident, they're Nevada's veterans, our local heroes, and they love getting out to enjoy life beyond our doors. From shopping trips and casino visits to casual strolls through the store aisles, they're always ready for the next adventure. As a volunteer, you'll be their companion and a helping hand along the way.
What does that mean exactly?
- Offering support with mobility (comfortably guiding or escorting a resident in their wheelchair or walker).
- Lending a hand with picking up items or reaching things in stores.
- Assisting with getting around safely in busy places like shops or casinos
- Most importantly: sharing great conversations, smiles, and a positive spirit with those who've served our country.
We're looking for volunteers who bring:
- A friendly, easy-going attitude
- Flexibility and quick thinking (because every outing is a new adventure!)
- A willingness to jump in and help however needed
- A ready-to-go, can-do spirit
