This is an opportunity for you to help us make this garden the very best place for CCSD students to learn and grow. You will be helping cultivate this beautiful garden and outdoor classroom while enhancing the area for hands-on learning in STEM, sustainability, and nutrition throughout the school year.
A garden refresh is a one-time overhaul in the garden to do any necessary maintenance in and around the garden and/or orchard. Tasks may include:
- planting seeds
- pruning
- transplanting
- composting
- amending the soil
- weeding
- cleaning up the surrounding outdoor area
We encourage you to bring your own garden gloves, any garden tools you may have, and a lot of water! Please make sure that you are dressed appropriately with closed toe shoes and clothing that can handle a little bit of dirt.
