Who We Are
My Scars Are Beautiful® is a Nevada 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of traumatic physical injuries and the emotional scars that often follow. These experiences include burns, accidents, surgeries, violence, medical trauma, or other life-altering injuries that impact both physical and emotional well-being.
What We Do
We provide compassionate support and healing resources through programs and services such as peer support groups, art therapy workshops, community social outings, and financial assistance for low-income survivors covering reconstuctive surgery cost. Our goal is to create spaces where survivors feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Since 2016, our mission has been to offer support with compassion, understanding, acceptance, and love while honoring the strength, resilience, and beauty found in scars both inside and out.
