Local non profit celebrating 24 years in October. Our scope is workforce development -we serve the unemployed and underemployed individuals here in Southern Nevada.

Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) empowers unemployed and underemployed southern Nevadans into jobs that pay enough to support their family. We do this by matching each client in the project with a Case Manager who works with that person from then through their graduation. With career guidance, clients identify a job that they would like to obtain. With their Case Manager, they then put together a plan that identifies all of the things that will be necessary for the client to achieve that career. This may include going to a vocational school, earning an industry recognized credential, receiving mentoring and employment related services.
