Throughout Clark County, a countless number of people know the YMCA of Southern Nevada's extensive legacy; but there is so much more to our Y than one might think. From exercise to education, preschool to preventive health, and volleyball to volunteerism, the YMCA does not just strengthen our bodies, it strengthens our community.

By focusing on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, we have the opportunity to support all individuals in the attainment of a better life for themselves and a stronger community for their neighbors.

The Y believes everyone deserves a chance to success, no matter their age, income, or background. We discovered this is possible only when we unite in the common purpose of creating a better us.

Guided by our dedication to Youth Development, we empower youth to reach their full potential through summer camps, afterschool sites, academic interventions, early childhood education, STEM programs, nutrition and cooking classes, youth sports, swim lessons, teen clubs, family activities, and so much more. 

Our Healthy Living priority ignites a passion within us to improve individual and community well-being through evidence-based chronic disease programs such as those for cancer survivors and individuals with arthritis, meal sites to combat food insecurity, fitness and nutrition programs to combat rising obesity rates, senior social activities to improve longevity, walking clubs, and much more. 

Meanwhile, the Y's commitment to Social Responsibility means that we collaborate with partners to ensure no one is turned away due to the inability to pay, activate volunteerism, and advocate on behalf of the communities we serve. These commitments guarantee that everyone has meaningful access to the many essential programs that the YMCA offers in response to community needs.
