Volunteer at James B. McMillan Elementary and help them build a student putt- putt golf course!

Volunteers will spread rock and lay turf for the greens!

This project will provide Williams E.S. with much-needed cosmetic updates. :) Williams E.S. has several projects in mind and will match volunteers with tasks based on the number of people available and their comfort level.

Repainting of the blacktop including: Map of USA, Four Square, tetherball, lines, and renumbering and repainting our dots for new classrooms. :)

Jacobson Elementary is looking for volunteers to expand their purple footprint by turning the fence on each side of their schoolhouse purple! Volunteers will weave purple vinyl fence weave through the slats of their chain-link fences!

Scott E.S. is asking for volunteers to help repaint their school’s blacktop with fresh games, a vibrant sunray, and a refreshed basketball court. Over time, the paint has faded, making it harder for students to enjoy and fully use these areas. A bright, colorful blacktop not only makes their playground more inviting, but it also encourages physical activity, promotes teamwork, and provides engaging spaces for learning through play. :)

With your help, Scott E.S. can create a safe, fun, and visually exciting area that will benefit all their students for years to come!

Assist the custodial staff complete campus grounds upkeep: rake out beds, trim bushes, plan flowers, etc! Rake and clean out planters, trim bushes around the building, plant flowers, and basic grounds work in the two outdoor courtyards. :)

Some shared spaces at Aggie Roberts Elementary School are in need of cleaning and organization! Roberts E.S. needs volunteers to clean and organize the teacher's lounge, workroom, Family Engagement area, shared spaces (i.e. pods), and teacher storage areas. Volunteers will also assist in creating the teacher Zen Den! :)

Some of this may require lifting/moving tables, desks, chairs, etc.

Lummis E.S. needs assistance with cleaning up its campus! :) Volunteers will empty trash cans, fill trash bags, rake, shovel, and clean!

Under the supervision of the Read By Three Strategist, volunteers will help clean out and organize several storage closets!!

There are five garden beds that have been taken over by a grass and weeds! :) Volunteers will be asked to pull the weeds, get rid of the all the dirt in the beds, and add new dirt.

Assist with organizing, sorting, discarding, and moving classroom materials, furniture, etc. :)

Hyde Park Middle School would like assistance with disposing of large unneeded items into a dumpster (e.g., desks, tables, cabinets). Additionally, they need areas of the campus painted, large items disposed of, closets emptied out, and the storage conex cleaned.

The Cambeiro Courtyard Revamp is part of Arturo Cambeiro Elementary School's ongoing effort to transform the heart of their school into a welcoming, vibrant space for both staff and students!!

They have already begun by adding greenery and plants, creating a more inviting and calming atmosphere. Their next phase focuses on adding comfortable, functional outdoor furniture and painting the courtyard window sills to match the rest of the school’s updated color scheme.

This project will not only beautify our space but also foster a sense of pride, belonging, and community for everyone who walks through their courtyard!

Help Ulis Newton Elementary School clean up their conex area! :)  They have several boxes to clear up within three large portables.

Join us for Shelter Shine, a one-time volunteer opportunity to help disinfect plexiglass shields in our Emergency Night Shelter at Catholic Charities. In addition to creating a cleaner, safer, and more dignified space for our unhoused neighbors, volunteers will receive a brief tour of our campus. You’ll learn about our 16 programs and discover additional ways to get involved!

Come support the Centennial Hills YMCA as we wrap up our busy summer season by helping with a trash cleanup and power wash of the parking lot, as well as with repainting the rusty preschool gate and handrails!! 

Write and mail friendly, conversational letters to senior citizens in aged care homes and senior programs. Letters are handwritten and conversational - ABOUT YOU! - like what you'd write to a friend or relative rather than generic messages you'd find in a greeting card!

Volunteers will be using their creativity to create memorial boards to honor victims impacted by impaired driving crashes to be displayed at upcoming events to continue to share their stories and work to end drunk and drugged driving!!

What’s better than fresh, delicious, sweet treats? Nothing. Absolutely nothing is better. So, come make treats for the families at RMHC, and the families currently at the Hospital, in our amazing, fully equipped kitchen!

Come to the Ronald McDonald House® and prepare dessert in 3 easy steps:

Volunteers provide socialization and human contact that is necessary for homebound elders, helping them maintain their independence. Volunteer drivers also serve as companions and share conversations with clients to help reduce their isolation and provide the reassurance that there is someone who cares for them, they are not alone, and they can remain self-sufficient.

Volunteers provide social support to homebound seniors via telephone by calling up to twice a week. Volunteers will engage in reciprocal conversations, discussing activities, hobbies, and life stories. Volunteers offer informal social support and receive ongoing assistance.

Join us in hosting a Spooky Spectacular event for all youth in Foster Care.

Set Up (3p-5p) - Decorate dining area, arrange raffle prizes and carnival games

Parking Team (4p-7p) - Guide guests to parking areas to keep entry traffic moving smoothly and safely.

Operations (5p-8p) - Host carnival games awarding tickets and distribute prizes at our redemption table.

Strike Crew (7p-9p) - Aid in packing supplies for use at future events.

-  Some events will be planned by staff while other opportunities will be the responsibility of the volunteers to coordinate (coaching provided).

-  Go to local businesses to ask for donations, campaign evolvement, etc.

-  Must be comfortable in public spaces and speaking with strangers.

Hospitality Team members are responsible for baking our signature vegan cupcakes for all Partner appreciation, Program Participant, Donor, and Volunteer needs. Team members assist with planning and preparing catering meals, as well as cupcakes, for events throughout the year.

Team members are required to attend monthly team meetings, attend monthly baking sessions, and volunteer five hours per month. In office requirements vary.

We need your help to keep great books accessible to communities 24/7. Visit Little Free Libraries in your community to distribute books! 

We can suggest where to look for free or inexpensive books, or if you already have some, you can share those too. You can find book-sharing boxes near you using our world map or free mobile app. 

Register here to get started. Once you sign up, you will get access to tips & resources. Our Little Free Library staff can answer your questions. You can share books whenever it works for you.

Communities are hungry for books! Help Little Free Library fulfill its mission of book access for everyone by coordinating a local book drive. You can lead a book drive and distributed the collected books to local Little Free Libraries. Little Free Library staff can answer your questions along the way.

Lighthouse Charities are looking for volunteers to help with end-of-summer farm cleanup, fall planting, and harvesting fresh produce. Tasks may include pulling weeds, preparing garden beds, gathering ripe vegetables, and refreshing community spaces to get ready for the new season.

Book Preps make children feel special by cleaning and repairing gently used books that Spread the Word Nevada distributes every month to underserved schools. Thousands of children don't have books of their own and we need volunteers to ensure books get into their hands.

Perfect for groups and individuals, we have two shifts to choose from. All supplies and instructions will be given onsite.

Serving The Salvation Army's daily free community meal to those in need in Southern Nevada.  Volunteers will serve food, greet guests, service tables, and clean up.

Prepping adoption folders, bagging up dog/cat food, Dishes, prepping enrichment, Clean play yards, pick up poop around the areas, organizing leashes.

Volunteers will assist St. Jude's Ranch for Children with the following:
- Helping clean and prepare one of their foster homes.
- General landscaping and clean-up.
- Organizing, stocking, and cleaning at the Thrift Store.
- Painting the exterior of the donation center.
- Community garden fertilizing, maintenance, and upkeep.
- Sorting, packing and labeling Camp to Belong inventory.

Create personalized frames to celebrate our seniors' diverse post-secondary pathways! We want to highlight key moments in our programming, and build long-lasting photo materials that can be reused for future events. We love celebrating our seniors in any way we can, and we want to capture their hard work with cute props for pictures! Join us for some arts and crafts fun!

Volunteer with Casa de Luz to clean up their site and package food! Join Casa in organizing and cleaning their food pantry and youth center. Volunteers will also pack food bags for their students.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children celebrates 59 years of transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families at a Gala For Good!

Volunteers are needed to assist in set up as well as event support guiding guests joining us for the big night.

The Museum transforms to host some spooky fun! We are looking for individuals (or teams) ready to help run activity tables, answer guest questions and help with crowd control.  Team sign ups encouraged as we would love to put teams, organizations and businesses at specific tables.  What better way to show off your team spirit to our guests while helping them learn a little about natural history and S.T.E.A.M. 

There may be some light setup duties, decorating, cleaning, and sanitizing before the event. There may be some heavy lifting, moving items from room to room, bending over to pick up light to heavy objects, and light housekeeping (sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting).

Shifts can be adjusted to accommodate team sign-ups. A 30-minute break is available for 3+ hour shifts. Feel free to bring any drinks or snacks for your shift. We have a break room, refrigerator, and soda vending machine on the property. 

Emails will be sent out as the event gets closer.  

Junior Volunteers (13-15 years of age) are welcome with an adult or guardian present.  Drop offs are not allowed. If you need hours for a school program, this can fulfill those.

What: The Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum will need assistance setting up tables, chairs, etc. for the 34th annual Dinosaur Ball! There will be a few hours BEFORE the event of heavy lifting, moving items from room to room, bending over to pick up light to heavy objects as well as light housekeeping (sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting).
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. The money raised will help the Museum continue to build our educational department, take care of our animals, and so much more.

When: Saturday, September 26, 2025; 9 am-3 pm

Shifts: Shifts can be adjusted to accommodate team sign ups, so we avoid too many volunteers and not enough tasks.
