Our community is recruiting volunteers to support the 2026 Project REACH Senior Expos, Powered by NV Energy. These events help income-qualified seniors, age 62 and older, apply for Project REACH assistance to help pay past-due utility bills. The events also provide information on other programs, products and services, including ones that help with energy conservation and bill savings, that benefit seniors in our community.

Volunteers are needed at the event on Thursday, August 20, at Aliante Casino & Hotel & Spa, to assist with a variety of tasks, including guiding people to the event, greeting attendees, and helping seniors throughout the event. If you speak multiple languages and are willing to translate, please let the site supervisor know.

Volunteer with United Way of Southern Nevada to count, sort, and inventory school supplies from our Operation Back to School Drive! Join us as we ensure students receive the supplies they need to start off the school year successful and the proper resources.

Volunteers will also be writing good luck cards to students to wish them good luck on the new school year.

UWSN is looking for volunteers to assist with building 2,500 tote bags for the upcoming Project REACH Senior Expos! These totes will contain several pieces of paper, a snack, and other potential swag items for the seniors attending our Project REACH Senior Expos.
