Its core programs are centered on Health and Wellness, Education, Employment, Victim Services and Advocacy. As a Community Outreach Volunteer, your role will include greeting guests, explaining Puentes' mission in the community, as well as discussing and evaluating specific needs in order to direct individuals to the resources they require. This position is open to all ages 16 and older, and would be particularly rewarding for any participant from, or considering a career in social services, law enforcement, advocacy or a number of other community orientated pursuits. As the majority of guests at Broadacres are Latino, it is essential that our Coordinators are fluent in Spanish.
