Human Trafficking is the 2nd leading crime in the United States and Las Vegas is a hot bed for the demand for sex for sale. The Super Bowl will bring nearly one million people to the Las Vegas and the Adult Entertainment Expo is two weeks earlier. Pimps/Traffickers will be bringing in young girls and boys to sell during this time in Las Vegas. Many of them are missing and runways.
We are looking for volunteers to help SOAP Up Vegas!
Volunteers will label bars of soaps and makeup remover wipes for local hotels and get trained on how to spot the signs of human trafficking. Then take it one step further- help us deliver the materials along with crucial missing teen posters to hundreds of hotels and motels in the Las Vegas area.
Agenda: 9:30- Registration & Breakfast
Label soaps & wipes then bag them up for the hotels
10:30 Training on how to recognize the signs of trafficking and what to say to the hotels
12:00 Drive to hotels to deliver information, supplies, and posters
Training appropriate for middle school aged and older.
Must be 16 or older to go to the hotels with an adult.
Any age can label
