Open Air Markets are farmer’s market-style food distributions that travel to low-income, food-desert areas of Clark County and distribute food. Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down the distribution, distribute food to clients, and sign clients in to receive food. Because these distributions are held at partner churches and businesses in the area, the dates and times of distributions fluctuate based on partner availability.
Along with the Open Air Market is a free drive-through Covid testing on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Winchester Dondero Cultural Center, 3130 McLeod Drive, near Desert Inn Road and Eastern Avenue.
