Thousands of boxes of cookies will be distributed to local Girl Scout troops at the annual “Cookie Mega Drop” on Saturday, February 12 from 6:00am – 4:00pm at Bekins Moving Solutions at 4210 Sobb Avenue.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set up/tear down, direct traffic/organize cookie caravans, escort troop vehicles through the pick-up lines and assist with loading cookies into vehicles and trucks. Volunteers should be able to lift, push or carry a minimum of 10 pounds.
Water and snacks will be available.
Shifts: Morning: 6:00am – 11:00am Description: Assist with set up, direct traffic, escort troop vehicles, load cookies. Lunch provided following shift end.
Afternoon: 11:00am – 4:00pm Description: Direct traffic, escort troop vehicles, load cookies, assist with tear down. Lunch provided at start of shift.
