The Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the Volunteers of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum are hosting a unique fundraiser evening. LVNHM will be center stage for the most epic role playing game you have been a part of. For this evening, we have characters that will be mandatory and important to the storyline of the night.
Guests pay to participate in this unique "whodunnit" game that was created specifically for the Museum. There will be other activities during the evening to help raise money for the Museum while putting the volunteers in the spotlight.
We have characters that will be mandatory and important to the story line of the night. Signing up means you are 100% committed to being a part of the evening and will be present to play. Costumes are not mandatory but encouraged.
The story is set in the 1920s and each character's design is inspired by animal scientific names, animal characteristics or even inspired by an individual from that era. Each character will have parameters that you need to follow in order for it to help the storyline but overall-you are free to embellish your character using your imagination. No script! No theater experience needed! Just some basic character information that we provide and your enthusiasm.
We are family friendly and individual friendly, so there will be limitations on what you can or cannot do such as:
1) Please do not incorporate anything offensive into your character or your behavior for the evening.
2) Please do not incorporate drugs or violence into your character or behavior for the evening.
3) Please do not play a real life person. You may let your character be inspired by but to avoid issues, no real life individuals can be portrayed for the evening.
There will be meetings leading up to the event in order to prepare everyone on what to expect. Please do not sign up for a character if you cannot attend.
