Calling all volunteers near Las Vegas! On May 21, the Sweets and Snacks Expo will be held in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Give Kids The World needs your help! We need local volunteers from 12 pm - 4 pm on 5/21 to gather as much candy from the convention as they can and help our Support Services team load the candy onto trucks to ship it back to the Village! Candy from the Sweets and Snacks convention is used all year long at our parties for our wish families, including the popular Halloween Extravaganza!
Please be aware that outside bags, backpacks and purses will not be allowed inside the event. Volunteers will receive more information as the date gets closer. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older and wear closed-toe shoes. There will be a lot of walking, so please wear comfortable shoes!
Volunteers must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. The boxes of candy will be placed on dollies to move to the loading area, so please be prepared to push boxes.
Volunteers with food allergies should use caution when attending this event.
