Volunteer: *Driver* Home Deliveries***Please register as a new volunteer & sign up for this shift at https://thejustoneproject.org/volunteer-1 **For group sign ups, please email volunteer@thejustoneproject.org Using your own vehicle and a scheduled route, this shift allows you to deliver a week’s worth of fresh and nutritious groceries directly to clients’ doorsteps who are unable to leave their residence. Each route takes 1.5-3 hours, depending on the location, and consists of 8-12 deliveries. Volunteers typically arrive around 8:30am, but we are flexible with your schedule. ***Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to arrive later than 9:30am, so that we know the route will be covered. All groceries must be picked up from our warehouse no later than 11am. You MUST have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a vehicle. ***We will make a copy of your driver's license and proof of insurance to have on record for insurance purposes. Volunteers will assist with unloading pallets of food and placing those items into our clients’ vehicles in a drive through style format. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes, sunglasses, hats and sunscreen, as you will be outside for the duration of the event. Water is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.
