Volunteer: Youth Volunteers Needed – Community Giving Carnival (Grades K-12)

Creating a Giving Culture LV is a youth led nonprofit empowering elementary, middle, and high school students to lead meaningful service projects in their community. This volunteer opportunity is for youth volunteers only. Participants will take part in our Community Giving Carnival, a large scale service event where students work side by side to assemble care kits and complete hands on service activities that directly support the local community. This project is led by the Nevada Volunteers Youth Council, in partnership with Creating a Giving Culture LV, and is recognized as an official America 250 Nevada Volunteers Project. Youth volunteers will also learn about our Boardroom to Backpack initiative, which connects youth service with community leadership and shows what is possible when young people are trusted and supported to lead. Eligibility requirements • This opportunity is intended for school aged youth only • Parent or guardian consent is required for participation • Adult participation is limited to approved chaperones or advisors This is not just volunteering. This is youth leadership in action.
