GYSA’s Visions is to foster healthy and productive generations of children by using sports to improve their overall physical and mental health.

Our mission is to leverage our three core values of Sports, Education and Character to create an environment for our youth that fosters growth, development and success. 

More than 70% of children from low-income households do not participate in organized sports primarily due to cost.

GYSA's premier program, The School Sports Solution, provides affordable after-school programming to the children who need it most. The School Sports Solution program is an after-school, elementary sports program that provides 1st - 5th grade boys and girls competitive & recreational sports opportunities blended with education and character development.

The School Sports Solution hosts competitive and recreational programs for Basketball, Flag Football and Soccer as well as opportunities for Track and Cheer. In addition to sports practices, students participate in game day events, tournaments, GYSA's Annual Character and Awards Night, as well as weekly reading hours with strategies implemented to increase comprehension.
